Cynthia Jasso-Rotunno, Small Business Administration, Associate Administrator, Office of Communications & Public Liaison

Ms. Jasso-Rotunno has been selected to serve as the Associate Administrator for the Office of Communications and Public Liaison (OCPL), of the U.S. Small Business Administration. In this role, Ms. Jasso-Rotunno serves as a Senior Executive providing executive oversight, management, direction, and leadership to OCPL operations and has the principal responsibility for developing and implementing effective external and internal communications strategies to ensure that SBA’s mission, programs, services, and initiatives are articulated clearly and consistently to the public and the small business community.

Throughout her career, Ms. Jasso-Rotunno has served as a senior advisor with management and political acumen supporting C-suite and federal executives in two presidential administrations, multinational companies, and NGO clients with a focus on vision implementation, thought leadership, and team building. She is a proven public affairs leader, policy advocate, and community organizer that creates cultural content that lifts brands awareness and amplifies entrepreneurship, small businesses, and innovation in both domestic and international setting. Prior to this role, Ms. Jasso-Rotunno served in multiple positions with the Democratic National Committee and Democratic National Convention Committee focused on management, engagement, and outreach.

In additional to her experience, Ms. Jasso-Rotunno has a bachelor’s in business administration in Marketing from the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
